Naya Rivera Laid To Rest At Forest Lawn Memorial Park

Hot New Hip Hop has learned that Naya Rivera has officially been laid to rest. Friends and family of the Glee actress laid her to rest at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills area of LA after she died in a horrible drowning accident approximately 14 days ago.

According to multiple reports, Forest Lawn Memorial Park is the resting place for many other big-named stars, including Carrie Fisher, Debbie Reynolds, Paul Walker, as well as the rapper Nipsey Hussle, who was shot and killed outside of his clothing store in March 2018.

Thus far, we know that Naya died from drowning. The Blast obtained a copy of her death certificate on the 30th of July, which confirmed she had died by drowning. The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office also revealed the news just one day after her body had been discovered.

There was a five-day investigation and search conducted to find the remains of her body. Reportedly, Naya’s fatal drowning occurred in just a few minutes, and there were no preexisting conditions that led to her unfortunate death.

As it was previously reported, the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office published their official cause of death earlier this month in which they confirmed what everyone had suspected about Naya’s sudden disappearance on Lake Piru.

More importantly, the medical examiner concluded there were no drugs or alcohol which acted as contributing factors to her drowning either. This past week, her ex-husband, Ryan Dorsey, wrote a touching tribute about her on his social media for the first time.

Ryan wrote on his account that there are no words to express the “hole her death left in everyone’s hearts.” He added that he couldn’t believe this was “life now.”

Fans of the couple know Dorsey and Naya didn’t always get along. For instance, she was charged with domestic abuse charges around the same time as their divorce. Other stars such as Big Sean have insinuated Rivera was violent toward the men she loved as well, although, he merely suggested it with a social media meme rather than a direct statement.
