It wasn’t long before Dan responded to the accusations, replying: “Couldn’t be further from the truth. Interested in people’s opinion and keen to read them out on air. Have a nice day.”
But the fan was persistent and insisted they “didn’t buy” the presenter’s simple explanation.
The exchange forced another fan to chime in and defend Dan, who reminded the original viewer that if he wanted an argument, he wasn’t talking to the right person.
“Stop poking for an an argument & get on with your day, it’s not Piers Morgan you’re replying to,” the fan snapped.
