RHOC to film despite Shannon Beador's coronavirus diagnosis

Real Housewives Of Orange County will continue to shoot despite the fact that castmate Shannon Beador has tested positive for COVID-19.

Bravo is continuing production on season 15 without Beador because they feel there is a low chance anyone would get sick, according to TMZ.

Shannon Beador revealed that she and her three daughters Stella, Sophie, and Adeline have tested positive for the novel coronavirus last Friday.

When production on the show first started up again a few weeks ago, RHOC ladies Braunwyn Windham-Burke, Kelly Dodd, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson and newbie Elizabeth Vargas took a trip to Lake Arrowhead, without Beador.

Since they weren’t exposed to her, the production crew is confident they can go ahead safely.

They’re still putting pretty strong precautions in place, requiring temperature checks, avoiding filming in crowds and having the crew members wear masks on set. This same approach is being used for Real Housewives Of Atlanta.

While she recovers Shannon will be filming on her phone.

Last week Shannon took to Instagram to announce the diagnosis.

The 56-year-old Real Housewives Of Orange County star uploaded a photo of herself and her girls that ‘was taken pre-pandemic’ and shared: ‘Today, we are Covid positive times 4.

‘The girls and I are blessed to be quarantining in the same home (but isolating in separate rooms).’

She went on the thank all of the medical professionals that have come to her and her daughters’ aid.

‘A huge thank you to all of the medical personnel that have been patiently guiding us through this illness. Sending prayers to all of those affected, concluded Beador.

It was revealed by Page Six on July 14, that season fifteen of the Real Housewives Of Orange County had begun filming ‘in an undisclosed’ location. Whether Shannon was present during filming is unknown.

Weeks before revealing her coronavirus diagnosis to her 1.3million Instagram followers, Shannon spent the Fourth Of July with her beau John Janssen.

A month prior to their Fourth Of July outing, Shannon and John enjoyed a socially distanced dinner in celebration of their first date anniversary.

‘One year ago, the first date @fableandspirit. One year later, celebrating at the same place,’ wrote Beador, who cozied up to her handsome boyfriend for a selfie.

California is currently a hotbed for coronavirus cases, which averaged 9,558 new cases a day last week, according to The New York Times.

Shannon shares daughters Stella, Sophie, and Adeline with ex husband David Beador, 55, whom she was married to from 2000 until their divorce in 2019.
