Courtney Stodden is celebrating the release of her new music single “Side Effects” with several bathing suit photos. In a surprising twist, Courtney revealed to Fox News that her recent encounter with Brian Austin Green helped inspire a portion of the song. Courtney is only 25-years-old, but she has had the life experiences of women double her age. A child bride, she was married to Doug Hutchinson when she was only 16-years-old and he was 50-years-old. At the beginning of their relationship, she defended their age difference as being inconsequential to their true love. Fast-forward ten years to when the couple divorced and Courtney would later say she believed she was “groomed.”
She hasn’t remained silent about a recent encounter with Brian Austin Green that left her likewise feeling used and she’s referred to Austin-Green as a womanizer. Courtney can tell a few tales when it comes to love, abuse, and finding your self-worth again, and those messages are reflected in her lyrics.
In a statement to Fox News, Courtney Stodden stated the following.
“‘Side Effects’ is about that feeling you have when you leave an entanglement. You got a bad dose of a bad actor and just want to be sober again. The high isn’t worth the side effects.”
Ouch! Many people left comments on Courtney Stodden’s Instagram post that revealed she and Brian Austin Green were in a hot tub together, warning her not to jump into a relationship quickly. Courtney’s divorce was finalized on March 3, 2020, and many of her supporters want her to take time to heal before moving on with another man. Courtney didn’t say what fashion label she wore for her bikini selfies, but she shared two pictures and promoted “Side Effects” in each caption. She wore a turquoise and tan, snake-skin print bikini as she reclined in a lounge chair and showed off her curves. Courtney recently went back to her natural hair color and ditched the platinum-blonde look. She’s been getting plenty of praise for her new honey-blonde, darker locks and many say that the look is not only more natural but is more flattering to her complexion.
