“You can edit it down, it’s really free-range and I find myself talking about everything like love…” before Simon admitted he had listened to one of the guest’s podcasts in with singer Tom Grennan making an appearance.
“You just ramble and ramble on…” Simon added, before Tim eventually chose 1996, the year he started presenting Soccer AM with Helen Chamberlain.
Pixie was pleased with the host’s choice, stating she was a big fan of Soccer AM: “I mean growing up I watched it, my family loved it, big football fans!”
Giving his thoughts on his own memorable year, Simon said: “27 for me, that’s when I opened my first restaurant, sort of changed my life…”
