Kim Kardashian is seen for the first time since husband Kanye West's apology

Kim Kardashian was seen for the first time since her husband Kanye West issued a grovelling Twitter apology to her for airing their ‘private matters’.

The reality TV icon, 39, put on a brave face as she took her car for a spin in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon, just hours after it was announced that the embattled rapper, 43, visited a local emergency room in Wyoming to visit a pal amid his bipolar episode.

The couple are said to be living apart after reportedly ‘being at each other’s throats’, with the musician recently making their marital issues public by accusing her of trying to ‘lock me up’ and claiming he wanted to divorce her in a fierce social media rant.

The businesswoman, who shares North, seven, Saint, four, Chicago, two, and Psalm, 14 months, with the producer, sported a full face of make-up as she drove around the Californian city.

Despite not publicly replying to Kanye’s post, Kim liked a tweet from a Kardashian fan account which read: ‘i love you both so much’ (sic) in response to his apology.

The hip hop star tweeted: ‘I would like to apologize to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter.

‘I did not cover her like she has covered me. To Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me.’

Kanye then followed up his message with a tease for his new album Donda – named after his late mother – which had been due to be released Friday but was postponed.

A representative for Kim declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline.

At around the same time Kanye issued his apology, he visited Cody Regional Health in Wyoming, as concerns continue to mount over his mental health.

A member of his entourage later confirmed to DailyMail.com that the artist was visiting a friend at the hospital.

The quick trip to the ER room came after he touched back down in the state on a private jet following a three-hour visit to California where he visited an art studio in San Francisco but failed to meet up with his wife.

His grovelling apology to Kim topped off what has been a fraught week for the celebrity duo after Kanye hit out at her several times.

He had accused the media personality of trying to ‘lock me up’ in a series of concerning posts, and claimed he has been ‘trying to get divorced’ from her ever since she allegedly met his fellow rapper Meek Mill at the Waldorf Hotel.

Tensions first became visible between the pair when Kanye revealed in his South Carolina presidential campaign rally on Sunday that they considered aborting their daughter North.

He broke down in tears as he said: ‘In the Bible, it says, ‘Thou shall not kill.’ I remember that my girlfriend called me screaming and crying, and I was just thinking – because at that time I was a rapper I was out there, [had] different girlfriends and everything – and she said, ”I’m pregnant.” And I said, ”Yes!” And then I said, ”Uh oh.”

‘She was crying… and for one month and two months and three months, we talked about her not having this child. She had the pills in her hand.’

He then claimed that a vision from God led to them going ahead with the pregnancy.

‘I’m in the apartment where my wife was actually robbed, and I have my laptop up and I have all of my creative ideas, I’ve got my shoes, I’ve got my next song cover… and the screen went black and white,’ he said.

‘And God said, ‘If you f*** with my vision I’m gonna f*** with yours.’ And I called my wife and she said, ‘We’re gonna have this baby,’ and I said ‘We’re gonna have this child.’

He also announced that his children would ‘never do Playboy’ – after Kim famously posed on the front of the magazine.

Kanye then said in a series of tweets Monday that Kim was trying to have him locked up on medical grounds.

‘Kim was trying to fly to Wyoming with a doctor to lock me up like on the movie Get Out,’ he tweeted.

He reinforced these claims turning on both Kim and her ‘momager’ Kris Jenner claiming on Twitter Tuesday night that ‘they tried to fly in with two doctors to 51/50 me’, referring to a section of California law under which people can be confined for mental health reasons.

Kanye later tweeted claims that he was trying to divorce Kim ever since she met rapper Meek Mill at the Waldorf Hotel.

‘I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Warldolf [sic] for ‘prison reform”, Kanye wrote.

He also called mother-in-law Kris ‘Kris Jong-Un’ and accused the pair of ‘white supremacy’ in another freewheeling series of tweets.

Kim broke her silence over the messages Wednesday, saying she was ‘powerless’ and calling Kanye ‘brilliant but complicated’.

The beauty entrepreneur also said ‘his words sometimes do not align with his intentions’.

She explained: ‘I understand Kanye is subject to criticism because he is a public figure and his actions at times can cause strong opinions and emotions.

‘He is a brilliant but complicated person who on top of the pressures of being an artist and a black man, who experienced the painful loss of his mother, and has to deal with the pressure and isolation that is heightened by his bi-polar disorder.

‘Those who are close with Kanye know his heart and understand his words sometimes do not align with his intentions.’

You’ve got a friend in me: Justin Bieber paid a visit to Kanye’s ranch in Wyoming on Friday in order to spend some quality time with his industry pal

Several friends including Dave Chapelle, Damon Dash and Justin Bieber have flown in to his Wyoming ranch this week to rally around him.

Singer Justin paid a visit on Friday during a road trip with his wife Hailey Bieber, with Kanye posting an image of the two stars on his social media account.

‘DD & JB discussing the new spray foam wall prototypes on the YZY campus,’ wrote the father-of-four, who also uploaded a photo of the 26-year-old pop star to his Twitter account.

In the photo, Justin could be seen sitting in the vast Yeezy Campus warehouse as he listened intently to one of Kanye’s collaborators.

Meanwhile, Kim and their children have remained in Los Angeles, with the brunette recently seen filming scenes for Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Earlier this week, the Yeezus star’s presidential running mate told DailyMail.com he is doing ‘great’ and insisted his string of Twitter rants are ‘nothing to worry about’.

Biblical life coach and dental worker Michelle Tidball, 57, of Cody, Wyoming, was named by Kanye as his Vice-Presidential pick earlier this month, and was spotted outside the dental practice where she works on Wednesday afternoon.

Tidball, who holds controversial views on mental illness including that it can be cured with chores, insisted to DailyMail.com he is ‘fine’.

She said of him: ‘He’s great. He’s really great. There’s nothing to worry about. He really is just fine.’

Asked if she intends to continue with her tilt for Vice President, Michelle refused to be drawn on her plans but said she would be releasing a statement soon.

She added: ‘I can’t comment on that [the run for office] right now. I’m going to be making a statement very soon.’

Tidball, who has no history of elected office, was revealed as Kanye’s running mate earlier this month.

The College Dropout star, who announced his plans to run for president on July 4, has been staying at his 4,000-acre ranch just outside the tiny Wyoming town since Sunday.

What Kanye has said since joining the 2020 presidential race

July 4: Kanye West announces he is running for president, declaring that ‘we must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future’.

West receives early backing from his wife Kim Kardashian and from SpaceX supremo Elon Musk. However, there is much skepticism about whether he genuinely intends to run.

July 8: Forbes publishes an interview with Kanye in which he says he has never voted before, wants to model his presidency on the fictional country of Wakanda in the movie Black Panther, and no longer supports Donald Trump after previously appearing in the Oval Office with a Make America Great Again hat.

West also says he was ill with Covid-19 in February and is sceptical of developing vaccines against it, and suggests that Musk should be head of America’s space program.

July 14: West scores two per cent in a poll of the presidential race, with 56 per cent of respondents believing that the rapper is not serious about running for president.

July 15: Kanye appears to take a further step towards running for president, as a filing with the Federal Election Commission shows the establishment of a Kanye 2020 campaign committee under the banner of the Birthday Party or BDY. West says the name is chosen because ‘when we win, it’s everybody’s birthday’.

July 18: Kanye urges his supporters to sign a petition to get him on the ballot in South Carolina. Two days later, state officials say the deadline has passed and that that West did not submit the required paperwork in time. However, he is listed on the ballot in Oklahoma.

July 19: West holds a campaign rally in South Carolina, wearing a bullet-proof jacket marked ‘security’ and with ‘2020’ shaved into his head. In a rambling speech, he reveals that he and Kim had considered aborting their daughter North and sparks outrage by claiming that abolitionist Harriet Tubman ‘never actually freed the slaves’.

July 20: In a series of tweets, Kanye claims that Kim Kardashian is trying to have him locked up on medical grounds, compares himself to Nelson Mandela and suggests the movie Get Out was about him.

The tweets spark further concern for his well-being, but Elon Musk says that ‘we talked about an hour ago’ and that Kanye ‘seems fine’.

July 21: Kanye claims he has been ‘trying to get divorced’ since Kim Kardashian allegedly met rapper Meek Mill to talk about prison reform at the Waldorf Hotel. He also calls his mother-in-law Kris Jenner ‘Kris Jong-Un’ and accuses the pair of ‘white supremacy’ in another freewheeling series of tweets. Most of his tweets are quickly deleted.

Earlier in the day, he had hinted he could postpone his presidential run until 2024 after saying ‘I guess all black people supposed to vote for Biden’. He also heaped praise on comedian Dave Chappelle for visiting him at his Wyoming ranch.

July 25: West reaffirms his plans to run for high office, saying that he believes a write-in campaign could be successful. He also apologizes to wife Kim and asks for her forgiveness.
