Jeremy Clarkson, 60, has declared he is “fed up” with Nicola Sturgeon,50, after he claimed she used her “thunderstorm of hindsight” to criticise Prime Minister Boris Johnson,56. The motor expert said that no matter what appears to happen, Nicola finds a way to see it as “Boris’ fault”.
Jeremy questioned: “Is anyone else getting fed up with Nicola Sturgeon as she rides around on a thunderstorm of hindsight, criticising Boris Johnson for absolutely everything that’s wrong with the world?”
His complaint follows Nicola’s condemnation of Boris’ “absurd and ridiculous political comments” after the latter said that she could make people potentially quarantine if entering Scotland from other parts of the UK.
At the Scottish Government’s coronavirus briefing, Nicola said: “Given the nature of what we’re dealing with right now, just to remind the Prime Minister, an infectious virus, I would not be doing my job properly if I ruled things out that, as we see from countries around the world, are being used selectively in appropriate circumstances to try to contain a virus.”
Jeremy continued in his column: “Hong Kong? That’s Boris’ fault. The midges. They’re Boris’ fault. Plastic in the ocean. That’s definitely Boris’ fault.

He wrote: “As I watched, I couldn’t help thinking that the country could do with that kind of iron-willed leadership now.”
The former Top Gear host went on to discuss how Margaret was undeterred from her political duties, despite being at great risk of dying in the 1984 Brighton explosion.
“I can’t imagine a woman like that would have been laid low by Covid-19,” he added, in reference to Boris’ recent battle with the virus.
Jeremy added: “Would she have allowed planes to land and the Cheltenham Gold Cup to go ahead? Not a chance.
“And would she be dithering now, coming up with all sorts of damn fool rules about barbecues and whether your hairdresser is allowed to talk to you? Again, no.”
Jeremy also previously hit out at Nicola’s SNP party’s ambition to create an independent Scotland away from the UK.
In a 2014 Telegraph column, he declared he didn’t understand the “need for Scottish independence” and that “sanity” had prevailed when the country had voted against it.
He explained: “Scotland had a vote on independence in 2014, and sanity prevailed. Then those who lost immediately decided they’d like another vote. And so it will go until, eventually, they win, and we will have to post soldiers on the road out of Gretna Green. I don’t understand the need for Scottish independence. “
