“I try to do the best I can and see where we end up. But, of course, it is going to be quite tricky to overtake here anyway.”
During Q2, Albon was heard on Red Bull team radio complaining that traffic on the track had held him up.
He said a number of factors had impacted his qualifying performance and he was in for a long evening to determine a strategy for Sunday and future qualifying sessions.
“It was a bit of everything,” Albon told Sky Sports F1. “Obviously I didn’t do a great lap as well.
“But we had another lap to kind of fix it. It’s a few things to be honest, so we just need to sit with the team and discuss it and just be better prepared for next time.”
