Mrs Hinch fan shares £1 baby oil cleaning hack for hob and splashback to remove stains

Posting in the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook group, one cleaning fanatic asked fellow fans of Mrs Hinch what the best method was to clean a new stainless steel hob.

She wrote: “Hi everyone, I have a new stainless steel hob and splashback, however, whatever I use on it just seems to leave smears, I just wondered if anyone had any ideas as to what I could use to get it smear free?”

Cleaning fans were quick to rush to the comments to explain how they keep their hobs clean with some unusual suggestions.

One person commented: “I’m the same and the only way I can seem to get it is by applying pink stuff cream cleaner then wiping it round with a dry piece of kitchen roll.
