Considering Lady Stoneheart is going to be looking into helping her surviving family as much as she can, fans believe she will track down the transport containing Edmure and attempt to save him.

Reddit user and ASOIAF fan Ghalasm recently proposed: “So GRRM already confirmed that we would see Jeyne Westerling and Edmure Tully in the prologue of the next book, riding towards Casterly Rock as prisoners.

“Because every prologue/epilogue character must die, it means that something will trouble the column led by Forley Prester.”
