The dancing champion continued to talk about how he was planning to star in the Strictly Ballroom musical, which had to be postponed until 2021, due to the coronavirus lockdown restrictions.
Kevin explained: “As you know, Strictly Ballroom is absolutely my favourite thing. It was my absolute dream. I wanted to get on playing the lead in that show.”
After telling his listeners that all of his plans with the show were put on hold, and his tour with Burn The Floor didn’t happen, Kevin concluded: “We don’t know when theatres are going to come back. Everything is just so up in the air.”
While the UK Government continues to ease their lockdown restrictions, arts venues including theatres have remained closed.
