It’s Kevin Hart’s birthday and he definitely felt much happier to celebrate it this year than in the past! As you may know, the reason why that is the case is that the actor and comedian nearly lost his life in a horrible car accident since his previous birthday!
To mark his 41st birthday, Hart posted a snap of himself on his go-to platform and it showed him smiling brightly as he was on a boat, enjoying the sunlight.
In the caption, he told his many followers just how happy he is to be alive after what happened to him: ‘So blessed and so thankful to see the age of 41. I am lucky to be alive. There will never be another day which just goes by in my life that is not treated with the highest level of just respect and appreciation.’
As mentioned before, Kevin went through a pretty serious car accident that left him in a bad health state for months, needing a lot care from others while in recovery.
Hart apparently suffered pretty major injuries to his spine for which he needed surgery and a lot of physical therapy!
Back in May while on Joe Rogan’s podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, Kevin opened up about his road to recovery and even compared his comeback to the character of Rocky Balboa.
He told the podcast that ‘If I can continue to outdo me from the day before, then I’m ahead. That is the newfound energy I got out of life now. I am on this amazing Rocky story with myself – it is in my head. This is the comeback. I am going to come back better than ever.’
In reality, Kevin still has to go to therapy and needs massages but it’s safe to say that the results are noticeable already.

After all, in November he surprised everyone when he showed up at E! People’s Choice Awards.
