Emmerdale spoilers: Aaron Dingle's new love interest 'exposed' as figure from past returns

Aaron Dingle (played by Danny Miller) was heartbroken when Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) filed for divorce as he served time behind bars. Emmerdale fans were devastated to see the couple split but there could be some good news for Aaron on the horizon as a blast from his past arrives in the village and sparks could fly between the pair.

Last year, Robert was sentenced to life in jail for the murder of his sister’s rapist Lee Posner (Kris Mochrie).

Robert never intended on killing Lee but the sinister character died from his injuries after being attacked by Robert.

Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) was crushed by the news but tried her hardest to focus on her future with her baby boy.

While Aaron focussed on being reunited with his husband once he served his minimum sentence, Robert had other ideas.
