Stacey Solomon took to Instagram this morning to tell fans she was feeling much better after taking a 24-hour break from social media. The Loose Women star, who boasts an impressive 3.5 million followers on the site, left her phone in a drawer for the day after receiving nasty messages online.
Stacey, who lives with her partner Joe Swash, their one-year-old son Rex and her sons Zachary, 12, and Leighton, eight, said her boyfriend, as well as her followers, had helped to restore her positive frame of mind.
Yesterday, the mum-of-three admitted that although she tries to ignore horrible online messages, some days the “nastiness gets in”.
Returning to the picture-sharing site this morning, Stacey said Joe had lifted her spirits with her favourite takeaway and reminded her of the “important people” in her life.
She said: “Reading through your messages and they’re just the best tonic ever. I’m feeling so much better than yesterday thanks to you all (and Hoe).”

Yesterday, Stacey spoke out about the nasty messages she had received via social media.
In a lengthy post which she shared on her Story, the Loose Women panelist wrote: “Having a strange morning this morning. Some days I just wake up on the wrong side of my brain…”
“I always do my best to ignore nastyness because deep down I feel sorry for people who want to hurt others or try to bring them down… I feel awful for how sad they must be deep down.(sic)
“But some days it’s not so easy to ignore and the nastyness gets in,” she went on to say.
