One source close to the former pair shared via HollywoodLife that ‘Gavin is a great father and Gwen would be quick to agree. When it comes to their kids, he has not had all the time in the world he once had with them lately since quarantine, but all the time he’s had has been beneficial and something he’d never replace as he does not take anything for granted. He also Facetimes them when not near and ihe is a constant and important part of their life.’
‘Gavin and Gwen have figured out the whole co-parenting thing and it’s tested with Covid, but they’re now figuring out life as co-parents this way. It is a very healthy and happy situation when it comes to their kids,’ they went on to dish.
The boys spent most of the quarantine with their mom and her boyfriend, Blake Shelton on his ranch in Oklahoma and the insider stressed that Gavin was all for it.
After all, having them on the ranch meant taking them away from the city, where it’s most dangerous now.
The source also mentioned that Gavin and Gwen don’t really have any kind of relationship anymore but they never let their issues with one another affect the kids and how they parent them.

That’s not to say that there haven’t been any struggles in their co-parenting journey ‘but things have been smooth lately. COVID-19 was a huge test for them, it could’ve gotten really tricky but they were able to stay on the same page because they always put the kids first.’
