Cynthia Bailey Encourages People To Support Black-Owned Businesses

Cynthia Bailey has been supporting black-owned businesses, and she’s encouraging people to do the very same thing. Check out the post that she shared on her social media account.

This is actually a repost as you will see: ‘#repost @blacknationap @cynthiabailey10 appeared on the June 22 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen with a Moment of Mazel that focused on the importance of supporting businesses owned by Black entrepreneurs. “As an African-American female owner of a small Black-owned business such as @thebaileywinecellar , I want to encourage people to support Black-owned businesses. A lot of us took a major hit during the Coronavirus shut down and are struggling to stay afloat.’

The post continued and revealed that ‘By supporting Black-owned businesses you enable Black communities to become stronger by putting and keeping money in the Black communities. Also Black entrepreneurs enable job creation to hire unemployed Black people. By supporting Black-owned businesses, Black and non-Black people can show allyship and actually help the communities where a lot of the Black Lives Matters injustices are happening.” It is a personal message for The Real Housewives of Atlanta castmember. Cynthia is, of course, a business owner herself with businesses that span the fashion (eyewear and leather goods) and lifestyle industries and spaces, including CBVIOR, The Bailey Room, The Bailey Agency, and The Bailey Wine Cellar, among other entrepreneurial pursuits.’

The post that Cynthia cited continued to say this about her: ‘She added on Instagram: “Support Black Owned Businesses! Thank you everyone for all the continuous love [and] support.” TAG YOUR BLACK OWNED BUSINESS IN MY COMMENTS🤎💪🏽’

A follower said: ‘I love this! Can you check out my pictures and give me some feedback, please. You are my favorite model!’

A fan doesn’t agree with this and said: ‘This is crazy! If I as a white lady would have said “ I’m supporting white business owners “ I would have straight-up been called a racist!’

Someone else wrote: ‘Black-owned got to have all the ish in order tho, no half *ssing or n*gg*r-rigging. Some black own businesses fall short on the things that would make their business great. Make sure your business stands out for all the right reasons.’

Another commenter said: ‘Cynthia you are one of my favorite. But why can’t it support all women-owned businesses? I own two small business and I have been impacted by the Quarantine and COVID. Just like everyone.’

In other news, Cynthia also opened up about her daughter coming out as sexually fluid and explained why it was so ‘powerful!’
