Kate Garraway’s husband Derek Draper, 52, remains in a coma after his battle with coronavirus sparked major health complications. Appearing downcast today, the presenter was seen running some errands in London.
Sporting a laid-back look, she was pictured wearing a casual denim jumpsuit and trainers.
The mother-of-two could be seen wearing no make-up as she showcased her natural look.
Kate has been away from her television duties as she remains at home with the couple’s two children Darcey, 14, and William, 10.
On Sunday, Kate shared an emotional post about her husband, her own dad and father-in-law to mark Father’s Day.
In view of her 859,000 followers, she posted a collage of snaps of the three men inner life alongside a lengthy caption.
She wrote: “A tough day for us but am filled with so much love & gratitude to still have for my Dad ‘Trinity’ – thats my Dad Gordon, Derek’s dad Ken and of course Derek himself (officially the Best Dad in the World according to Darcey & Billy).”
Kate went on to thank her fans for their support throughout her husband’s health battle, which started in March.
She added: “Am sorry have not posted recently. I just needed a little time.”
The presenter added she is “overwhelmed by the long road that lies ahead” adding: “Whatever happens next I’m afraid it IS going to be a long road with an uncertain end that isn’t even nearly in sight right now.”
The mother-of-two went on to say she is “refocusing on hope” and said her family will “pull through this together”.
She also told fans she would never give up on her husband while he remained in hospital.
