Former Strictly Come Dancing sensation James Jordan, 42, admitted he prays for his dad, Allan, “every day” that he can finally have a “break” after being hospitalised due to suffering from several strokes during the coronavirus lockdown. The Dancing On Ice champion, who shares his baby daughter Ella with wife Ola Jordan, shared his thoughts on Instagram on Father’s Day.
Alongside a picture of himself and Allan, James took the opportunity to tell his dad how he is the “strongest” man he has ever met.
The BBC favourite wrote to his 220,000 Instagram followers today: “Happy Father’s Day to the strongest man I have ever met and the best dad I could ever wish for.
“I pray every day that you will be given a break soon and you can get back on that golf course with me,” he continued.
“Love you, dad.”

James continued: “Yesterday he had around seven seizures and no one knows why… Today they’re sending him for an MRI.
“I think there needs to be a lot more to be investigated to work out what’s wrong, but I’m not a doctor.”
The father-of-one also shared his frustrations over being unable to visit his dad in hospital.
James confessed: “I mean, you see all of these people going to the beach right next to each other and they say they’re going to open the shops, and yet my mum still can’t go in and sit next to my dad when he’s very sick in hospital?
“It’s quite upsetting and frustrating.”
James’ remarks come after he told his 271,000 Twitter followers how his mum was “going out of her mind” with worry while receiving no update on Allan’s condition when he was rushed to hospital after having another stroke last month.
The dancing champion wrote: “NEED SOME HELP!
“Unfortunately my dad suffered another stroke and was emitted to MAIDSTONE HOSPITAL on Friday I am aware the staff are very busy and consultants don’t work weekends but could someone please call my mum with an update because she is going out of her mind #please.”
