MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexico’s health ministry reported 3,494 new confirmed coronavirus infections along with 424 additional fatalities on Saturday, bringing the total in the country to 142,690 cases and 16,872 deaths.
The government has said the real number of infected people is likely significantly higher than the official count.
