Donald Trump reveals the surprising thing he will do next if Biden wins the 2020 election

Trump’s Democratic opponent Joe Biden suggested the US President might refuse to leave. Earlier this week, Mr Biden said he was concerned Trump would try to “steal” the election, though he did not elaborate what he meant, he also added he expected soldiers to escort Trump out of the White House if the President refused to accept defeat. Trump told Fox News: “Certainly if I don’t win, I don’t win.

“I mean, you know, go on and do other things.”

Tim Murtaugh, the Director of Communications for Trump’s re-election campaign, insisted on Thursday that the President would accept the result if he lost.

Trump has accused the Democrats of using postal voting to rig the election.

Mr Biden has vowed to deploy lawyers at polling stations to prevent Republican attempts at voter suppression.

The former Vice-President has overtaken Trump to become the bookies favourite.

The Republicans are favourites to win a majority in the Senate elections still, but their odds are beginning to drift with several bookmakers.

The Republicans hold 53 seats in the 100 seat chamber.

Senate elections are staggered, with a third of seats up for election every two years.

Governor Brian Kemp appointed Kelly Loeffler to fill the vacancy and Ms Loeffler will contest the special election.

All seats in the House of Representatives are up for re-election.

The Republicans lost their majority in the lower house in the 2018 midterms.

The Democrats are favourite for the House elections.

They currently hold 233 of the 435 seats.

According to Oddschecker, California Senator Kamala Harris is the bookies favourite to be Mr Biden’s Vice-Presidential nominee.

Ms Harris ran for the Presidential nomination but suspended her campaign because of a shortage in funds.

In March, political commentator Paul Beluga said he expected Trump to replace Mike Pence with Nikki Haley as his Vice-Presidential pick: “It’s too late for Mr Trump to revamp his political personality. But with the 2016 election in the past, Nikki Haley on the ticket could tamp down the antipathy for Mr. Trump that seems to afflict so many moderate and Republican-leaning women.”

Last year, Trump himself said, however: “Mike Pence — I know I’ve seen this rumour that keeps popping up, and Nikki would be great, but Mike Pence has done a phenomenal job as vice president.”
