Falk’s comments come after former West Ham and Everton midfielder Don Hutchison claimed United would be better served going for another young player who is taking the Bundesliga by storm – Kai Havertz.
“[In Sancho] I see a young player that’s got so much ability and when you are young you make mistakes on and off the pitch, which we’ve seen Jadon Sancho make this week,” Hutchison told ESPN FC.
“I think he’s got it. I think right here, right now if you’re asking me the question ‘Who would you rather have?’ or ‘Which player would you see going for over £100m?’ between Jadon Sancho and Kai Havertz, in my opinion I would be leaning towards Kai Havertz.
