Champions League crunch talks next week as Chelsea, Real Madrid and co await UEFA decision

Chelsea’s tie with Bayern Munich is not the only clash that was interrupted half-way through, with Manchester City holding a 2-1 lead over Real Madrid from their clash at the Bernabeu.

Barcelona and Napoli are currently tied at 1-1 and Lyon hold a 1-0 advantage over Juventus while RB Leipzig, Atalanta, Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid have already booked their spots in the quarter-finals.

As for the Europa League, two last-16 ties are yet to be started while all of the second legs still need to be played – including Manchester United’s clash with LASK, in which they hold a 5-0 lead.

Next week’s meeting will also be a chance for UEFA to discuss the planned schedule for Euro 2020, which has already been postponed until next year.
