Former Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder is currently paying a hefty price for her past racially insensitive actions and comments – she’s lost the career that she loves “so much.” Just four months before Bravo fired her from Vanderpump Rules, Schroeder wrote a note to Bravo on Instagram asking them to never fire her.
After Schroeder appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen back in February, she posted a selfie from the Bravo Clubhouse with Cohen and Summer House star, Kyle Cooke. In the caption, the 31-year-old wrote: “Dear Bravo, please never fire me, because I love this sh*t so much.”

On Tuesday, Bravo announced that the network had fired Schroeder, and her Vanderpump Rules co-stars Kristen Doute, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprioni because of racist remarks they have made in the past.
In addition to losing her gig on VPR, Schroeder’s public relations firm and publicist also parted ways with the Next Level Basic author and she lost all of her brand deals. All of this is the result of her former co-star Faith Stowers (the only black member in the show’s history) revealing during an Instagram Live chat last week that Schroeder and Doute called the cops on her for no reason.
“There was this article in the Daily Mail where there was an African American lady,” explained Stowers. “It was a weird photo, so she looked very light-skinned and had these different, weird tattoos. I guess this woman was robbing people. And they called the cops and said it was me. This is like, a true story.”
Stowers allegation was damaging enough, but then a clip from the Straight Up with Stassi podcast resurfaced from a few years ago that featured Schroeder talking about the “Oscars So White” controversy.
In the audio clip, Schroeder asked why Asians, Native Americans, and Latinos weren’t complaining about not being represented.Then Schroeder said: “Whenever they get upset everyone has to go above and beyond to then make them happy.” The “them” in Schroeder’s comment was in reference to black people.
When fans rediscovered Stassi Schroeder’s post asking Bravo to never fire her, they immediately started flooding the comments section. “This didn’t age well,” wrote one fan, while another added “Yikes.”

Both Schroeder and Doute have since apologized for their actions via Instagram posts, but Faith Stowers says that neither woman contacted her directly to apologize in private.
