Nikki Bella and her fiance Artem Chigvintsev have postponed their wedding while they are still expecting their first baby together. That being said, the Total Bellas star revealed why their dream nuptials are not taking place yet.
While on The Big Demi Energy podcast earlier today, Nikki revealed the reason why she and Artem chose to leave the knot tying for later.
As it turns out, there is not just one, but two main reasons!
One of them is the fact that Nikki is due to give birth to their first child sometime in August and the second is, of course the worry they feel when it comes to the coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic.
Taking these elements into consideration, the couple realized it’s better for everyone to just press pause on the wedding plans for the time being.
‘The uncertainty just kills me. It’s so hard not to try to feel depressed over it at times cause you’re, like, how long are we stuck inside for?’ the former WWE pro told the host.
Nikki also mentioned the financial situation amid the pandemic, pointing out that many brides did not get their wedding deposits back when the quarantine was first instituted.
So when are they thinking to have the ceremony? Well, not until the world is all safe again!
She went on to dish that ‘I want to make sure the world is in such a clear space. The day I get married, I just want a massive party. I want a bash. I want everything I’ve dreamed of. I honestly think our wedding will probably be far, far out. Maybe not, maybe within a year? But, like, I don’t even know. I have a feeling it might be longer.’
It doesn’t seem to matter much for Nikki and Artem if they are married or not!

The parents to be are very happy and in love so everything else is much less important!
