Sweet Home Alabama actor Josh Lucas’ former wife, Jessica Ciencin Henriquez is accusing him of not being faithful to her! The New York Times writer took to her Twitter account to post a pretty emotional statement in which she detailed everything!
The two have been divorced since 2014 but judging by what she had to say, it really sounds like they had reunited, only for her to be cheated on shortly after!
She started her letter by mentioning that ‘Exes are exes for a reason.’
Jessica then went on to reveal what that reason is!
‘Having a child with someone makes you want to forgive them more than you normally would. It makes you believe they are better than they are. But it takes a really s**t human to cheat on their partner (correction: now ex-partner) in the middle of a pandemic. Thank you for reminding me why I left you in the first place. I deserve better than this. Our son deserves better than this.’
And that was not all! she continued her message by addressing all women out there, encouraging them and reminding them that they are not alone if they’d experienced similar situations.
She acknowledged that there are many just like her that settle for much less than what they deserve for the sake of their children.
She and Josh share a 7 year old son together and have been pretty open about their co-parenting experiences in the media.
Jessica even wrote a column for Time titled: ‘Raising My Son With My Ex-Husband Is the Hardest Thing I’ve Ever Done,’ in which she argued against the idea that co-parenting is easy, in spite of how many other celebrities make it seem.

As for their relationship status following the divorce, Jessica was obviously suggesting that she and Josh had rekindled their romance in her post but one unnamed source tells People that is not the case which would also mean that he did not cheat! The actor is yet to respond to his ex’s claims!
