Rumors circulated several years ago that Beckham had undergone hair transplants and now some are suggesting David can’t maintain his haircare routine due to the Coronavirus pandemic and social distancing rules. The topic was even addressed in the upcoming May 25, 2020, issue of the New Zealand publication Woman’s Day.
According to the magazine, there’s more for David to worry about than just losing his luscious locks. David is known for his good looks and has a number of modeling and high-profile endorsement gigs that are tied to his looks. If David is suddenly appearing old, wrinkled, and bald, it could impact those deals. A source stated the following to the publication.
“Even with his money and celebrity pull, David’s doing the right thing and not bending the rules to keep up his hair maintenance, but it’s having a terrible effect on his self-esteem. He sees his hair as a crucial part of his brand. Hopefully, his thinning rug doesn’t push him into a midlife crisis.”
At this point, it’s unclear exactly what David Beckham’s hair routine is but now, some are wondering if he isn’t wearing a hairpiece because shortly after photos of the sports hunk with thinning hair went viral, he was spotted with a thicker mane.
The statements reported in Woman’s Day haven’t been confirmed and David Beckham hasn’t spoken out about the issue.
