One week after announcing that she was pregnant with baby number three, Ashlee Simpson displayed her growing baby bump in a new video on her Instagram Story. In the clip, the 35-year-old singer was wearing a black satin slip dress, and she wrote “Baby Bumpin” on top of the video.
The short clip also featured Simpson cradling her bump as she did a spin in a sunny field, and she used a butterfly filter.
Simpson and her husband, Evan Ross, are already the parents of a four-year-old daughter named Jagger Snow. She also shares her 11-year-old son Bronx Mowgli with her ex-husband, Pete Wentz, to whom she was married from 2008 to 2011.
Simpson and Ross announced their baby news on Instagram in a paid partnership post with ClearBlue that featured two pictures of their positive pregnancy test.
“We are pregnant and we are so excited to share it with everyone. Baby #3,” wrote Simpson in the caption. On his page, Ross wrote: “The fam is growing. ♥️ Ash and I can’t wait to welcome the newest addition.”
Simpson also noted in her pregnancy announcement that she and Ross know in this unprecedented time that pregnant women might be under greater stress. That is why they are supporting the March of Dimes Mom and Baby COVID-19 Intervention and Support Fund. Simpson told her nearly one million followers to check out the charity’s page to see how they are helping moms and babies get the care they need now and in the future.

The singer/songwriter’s big sister, Jessica Simpson, wrote in the comments that she couldn’t be happier for her favorite person on the planet. She called the pregnancy reveal “hands down the most exciting news” she could possibly imagine. And, she and her family were “beyond elated” for Ashlee and Evan.
After the couple announced the news, an insider told People magazine that Simpson has been wanting another baby for a long time, and both she and Ross have always wanted a big family.
