Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles, is super excited to be reunited with her daughter on Mother’s Day after they both made sure they were healthy! Amid the coronavirus pandemic, both women tested negative so they can now hang out!
This also means that Tina gets to spend quality time with her grandkids, Blue Ivy and twins Rumi and Sir as well on the special day!
During a new interview for Extra earlier today, Tina revealed that she and Beyonce both got tested for COVID-19.
She dished that ‘We all got tested and we are corona-free.’
When asked about their plans for the holiday on May 10, she told the news outlet that: ‘Generally, my whole family is together [for Mother’s Day], we eat together with all the kids and the grandkids…we’re gonna get together on Sunday and have dinner.’
There is no doubt that the Knowles family is usually really close so it’s safe to say that the self isolations orders have been hard to follow for them.
That is one of the main reasons why Tina is happier than ever to spend time with her daughter and grandkids again.
This weekend, they will finally get to reunite and the woman is really looking forward to it.
‘I haven’t touched my grandchildren. I saw them on Saturday at a distance playing. I’m so excited…I get to see them and touch them and that’s gonna be the best Mother’s Day present ever…I can’t wait to hold them,’ she dished.
The outlet also took this opportunity to asks about Beyonce and Jay Z’s experience when it comes to the quarantine and the mother confirmed that they have been doing well, just following the rules and trying to remain safe.
