Taylor Swift took to social media to share a selfie and now, her fans are convinced she has a very special announcement coming up! The theories are pouring in!
It’s no secret that the singer likes to drop some crazy online hints before releasing new music or other projects so it makes sense that her followers are freaking out over a simple selfie!
The star was looking fresh in the snap, showing off her more natural, light makeup and just looking beautiful.
Nothing unusual about that post, right?
Well, fans could not help but suspect she had something up her sleeve after reading her caption: ‘Not a lot going on at the moment.’
Doesn’t say much either but people are used to Taylor dropping subtle hints so for most, not even just a selfie is ‘just a selfie.’
Many are now convinced something is going to drop on May 8 and one reason is the time it was published!
5:08 pm EST. 5 + 8 = 13, which just so happens to be Taylor’s favorite number since she was born on December 13.
At the same time, the time of the post is written as 5/08, which is also obviously a date – May 8! Mystery solved!
Add all that to the fact that May 8 is on a Friday, the day new music drops, and people really believe a new song or even album is set to appear that day!
There are other clues to suggest this as well, including the caption.
‘Not a lot going on at the moment,’ is something written on the shirt she was wearing in the ‘22’ music video.’
