As fans know by now, Pink and her son Jameson tested positive for coronavirus, COVID-19. However, while in the meantime, she’s recovered, the poor 3 year old boy is still struggling with a really bad fever and continues to cough a lot.
The singer gave an interview on IG Live to author Jen Pastiloff and during their chat, she opened up about her diagnostic, in addition to updating her fans on how her younger child is currently doing.
Pink was obviously very worried and revealed that Jameson is still ‘really sick’ and that she has been praying for him to get better every night.
The symptoms that the boy has been experiencing include coughing as well as a 100 degree fever.
It’s been several days since Pink first opened up about the COVID-19 diagnosis given to her and her toddler and now, she is talking more about it.
‘My three-year-old Jameson has been really, really sick. There were many nights when I’ve cried and I’ve never prayed more in my life. It’s funny, but at one point, I thought they promised us our kids would be okay. It’s not guaranteed. There is no one that is safe from this,’ she told the interviewer.
Her husband Carey Hart and their daughter Willow Safe, 8, are healthy and Pink has managed to fight off the virus since she fist tested positive.
The same cannot be said about the toddler who still has the symptoms.
She explained that ‘I’ve kept a journal of his symptoms for the past three weeks and mine as well. He still, three weeks later, has a 100 [degree] temperature. It’s been a rollercoaster for both of us.’
‘We’re better than we were…Last week I was on nebulizers for the first time in 30 years,’ the singer also dished.
Pink was very lucky to recover so fast, however, as she can be considered high risk since she has asthma: ‘I’ve had asthma really bad, had it for my whole life. It got really, really scary, I’m not gonna lie. In the beginning, all we were hearing was ‘If you’re young, this is 65 and older, all of the kids are fine.’’

Obviously, that is not the case and Pink wanted to use her voice in order to bring awareness to the fact that it can infect anyone of any age!
