Scott Disick Attempts To Capitalize On The Coronavirus With ‘Please Wash Your Hands’ Merch

Keeping Up With the Kardashians and Flip It Like Disick star Scott Disick is trying to make some money off of the coronavirus scare. Kourtney Kardahian’s baby daddy has just released a brand new line of clothing under his Talentless brand that features t-shirts and hoodies with “Please Wash Your Hands” written in giant, bold letters.

Disick is the owner and creative director of Talentless – which he founded in 2018. He posted pics of the clothing items on his Instagram Stories and told his fans that they should buy their shirt or hoodie soon because the line could sell-out quickly.

The coronavirus-inspired tees and sweatshirts are unisex, and they are available in white, black, mustard yellow, and navy blue. The tees are priced at $49 and the hoodies sell for $129.

“Just dropped on @talentless so get them before they are sold out,” Disick wrote. “Selling fast and could sell out soon!” He added later in a photo caption, “You can thank the lord later, and just WASH YOUR HANDS.”

Disick’s release of the new merch comes as the outbreak of the coronavirus – or COVID-19 – continues to spread around the world.

According to the New York Times, the coronavirus has infected 100,000 people globally, with more than 3,400 fatalities. In the United States, there have been over 300 reported cases and 17 deaths due to coronavirus.

Disick’s merch also goes hand-in-hand with the advice from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, who says that washing your hands properly is one of the best ways to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The CDC says that the number one way to pass the virus is between “people who are in close contact with one another” via “respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes.”

Symptoms of the coronavirus include fever, coughing, and difficulty breathing, and they usually appear between two and 14 days after exposure to the virus. In addition to the CDCs advice of washing your hands, the World Health Organization breaks down the proper way to go about it.

Step one is to wet your hands and apply enough liquid soap to create a good lather. The next step is to rub your palms together and then rub the back of your hands. The next three steps are: interlink your fingers, cup your fingers, and clean your thumbs. Finally, rub your palms with your fingers before rinsing the soap.
