No Time To Die Postponed Internationally Due To Coronavirus Threat

Variety revealed earlier today that No Time To Die, the new James Bond film starring Daniel Craig, would be postponed until further notice. On Wednesday, it was announced that the film was supposed to be released on the 2nd of April internationally and on the 10th of April in the United States.

However, due to the recent spread of the coronavirus, theaters have closed in other markets including Japan, China, South Korea, and Italy. The closure of many theaters, in other words, could be the cause of a major loss in revenue for the film.

The latest James Bond film cost around $200 million to create and many millions more to market. Because of its massive budget, the film needs to rake in the box office numbers to make money.

In the United Kingdom, the movie comes out on the 12th of November and will launch in the United States on the 25th of November, 2020.

The rescheduling of No Time To Die could also have a ripple effect due to its impact on other films. In other words, movies scheduled for release in November of this year might be additionally delayed.
