Power: Proctor spin-off won’t happen but showrunner teases return in Book 2

The Power universe is expanding later this year as Starz prepares to carry on the stories of Tariq St Patrick (played by Michael Rainey Jr) and Tasha St Patrick (Naturi Naughton) in Power Book II: Ghost. Not only that but other ‘books’ focussing on Kanan (50 Cent), Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) and Rashad Tate (Larenz Tate) are also in the pipeline.

Courtney added to the publication: “I thought that would have been an awesome show,

A promo released shortly after the Power series finale revealed fans would also get to see how Tasha adapts to life behind bars.

Cooper Saxe (Shane Johnson) will also return in Book II, presumably hellbent on seeking justice against the St Patricks.

The series regulars will be joined by a number of new faces too as Mary J Blige and Method Man have joined the cast.

Method Man will take on the role of attorney Davis MacLean, a well-dressed, sharp, and intelligent legal man.
