Marks & Spencer is recalling the above products from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.
M&S released the following statement: “Customer safety is of paramount importance to Marks & Spencer and we take all issues regarding the production of our foods extremely seriously.
“Marks & Spencer is recalling its Chicken Bites given the presence of egg in a small number of incorrectly labelled packs.
“Any customers in possession of this product who have an egg allergy or intolerance, or who wish to exchange the product, can return it to their nearest store where a full refund will be given.
“We apologise to our customers for any inconvenience caused.”
