Malika Haqq is yet to give birth to her first child but she is already making all the necessary plans to get plastic surgery after welcoming her baby and therefore instantly ‘fixing’ her body! Right? That being said, some social media users were not too happy to hear about that, so she’s been getting a lot of criticism in the aftermath of her reveal.
But Khloe Kardashian’s best friend has no intention of changing her plans, so the best thing she could do was clap back at the haters, defending herself.
This comes after she revealed a couple of days ago that she’s already ‘fully booked’ for a ‘post-pregnancy makeover’ with Dr. Jason Diamond, a well-known celebrity plastic surgeon.
More than just the cosmetic surgery itself, what really bothered people was that it seemed like she was prioritizing her looks even before the baby was born as if snapping back into shape so quickly was the truly important part of motherhood.
Here are a couple of the harsh comments she got: ‘Dang have the baby first. Why do females think that they need to look amazing just after giving birth? Beyond me. Vanity, I guess.’ / ‘Really… if you cannot accept the marks that come along with having a baby then you shouldn’t be a mom.’
In response, Malika wrote: ‘These comments are hilarious! Dr. Diamond specializes in the face. He’s so elite it would take you 4 months to get an [appointment] with him. Relax ya mind, I won’t be getting a facelift. Lol.’
Then, she also replied directly to one commenter, in particular, making it clear that she never said she was going under the knife and that she was well aware she did not need it.
And that was not all! The mom to be then slammed haters for always jumping to conclusions.
‘Folks love to jump to conclusion lol my makeover doesn’t require surgery but to each their own. Where did I say surgery? Didn’t happen. There are [100] ways to enhance and improve that don’t require surgery.’

So it turns out that not only did people mom-shame Malika even before welcoming her baby but they were even mistaken about the reason why they were shaming her!
