Spencer went on to explain the method of bringing the comedy and comedic timing together, adding: “What happens a lot of the time is I get lines added to episodes more often than I get them taken away.
“And also, storylines change a lot. If a storyline isn’t working, audibly, they’ll go back and re-write and [sometimes] change the whole episode.”
As the show’s creators are such perfectionists, it’s no wonder the second half of season four is still nowhere in sight.
