“That’s what you dreamed of as a kid, as a young adult, playing football as a professional, now as a manager.
“I don’t see any chance of Jurgen Klopp giving this up. He’s fought tooth and nail to get to this point.
“Why give it up? No chance. They’re going to dominate for a few years, unfortunately.”
Atletico boss Diego Simeone, meanwhile, hailed Klopp’s current Liverpool as one of the best teams of all time.
And the Argentine coach, twice a runner up in the Champions League as the manager of Atleti, insists he has plenty of respect for his opponents.
“I have no doubt that that as we look back across all those years [of football] Liverpool will have their place in history, for certain,” Simeone said.
