Overwhelmed by the compliments, Mark revealed he has just had his passport renewed as he divulged his real age, saying: “I’m 54.”
An ecstatic Carol couldn’t believe his age, as the caller said: “You must have really good genes.”
Mark joked: “I do have good genes. And the most important thing I can say is the hair dye I use is nothing at all.”
Carol later took to Twitter and shared a snap alongside The Chase favourite, in view of her 425,000 followers.
