Heughan is from Balmaclellan in Scotland but his real accent is much more British with more of a hint of his homeland.
Brianna Fraser actress Sophie Skelton similarly puts on an American accent for her character.
The rising star is from Manchester and has an English accent rather than the New England tones Bostonian Brianna speaks in.
Scottish star McTavish also has a much more English accent compared to the accent he uses for Dougal MacKenzie on Outlander.
