Wanted: Jeremie Boga
Chelsea are considering an approach for former midfielder Jeremie Boga.
Boga, 23, arrived at Stamford Bridge from ASPTT Marseille in 2009 but managed just a single first-team appearance before a permanent £2million switch to Sassuolo in 2018.
However, he could soon be returning to west London.
The Blues are reportedly showing interest in their Ivory Coast reject, and owner Roman Abramovich could sanction a move to exercise a £12.7m buy-back option this summer – a fee which would be less than his market value.
Sassuolo sporting director Giovanni Carnevalli told Tuttomercatoweb: “Chelsea can redeem him in June.
“We have excellent relationships with them, we met them with them before Christmas also for other operations, because we like it as we did with Barcelona, to have a collaborative relationship.”
