Skriniar has also been on City’s radar, having forced his way into the Inter Milan team after his big money move from Sampdoria.
Inter signed Skriniar in 2017, in a £31million deal, and has been part of the starting XI at the San Siro ever since.
Brighton and Hove Albion’s Lewis Dunk has been linked with a host of clubs since last summer, including City, Chelsea and Manchester United.
