Random steam key opening is a YouTube thing – people buy clumps of Steam codes and open them, hoping to find the latest AAA nonsense. Normally the codes on Reviews Roulette come from indie developers, but this week we’ve purchased lots of Christmas themed games. This week’s random Steam games, for example, include Father Christmas doing something horrible down a chimney, a nightmare trip to an elf kingdom and a game where Matthew screams at a deer.
In Christmas Reviews Roulette our mystery Steam key reviews cast us as nasty Santa in Santa’s Special Delivery, and a nice (but not very good at platforming) Santa in Santa’s Story of Christmas. We fight demonic turkeys in The Turkey of Christmas Past, and run away from demonic Christmas presents in Tattletail. We also try to rock out with a keyboard in Santa Rockstar, which does not go well. Also not going well: escaping from Krampus in Krampus is Home. In fact, we do terribly in most of these. Especially Jingle.
