Nahitan Nandez blow

Nahitan Nandez will NOT be joining West Ham in January.

Yesterday, journalist Nicolo Schira claimed the Premier League side had offered to take Cagliari star Nandez on loan for the remainder of the season with an option to make the deal permanent for £33million.

However, The Serie A side’s sporting director Marcello Carli has denied any such claims.

“Nandez? He’s fine here, It’s never been a problem,” Carli told Calciomercato.it. “Our market is now closed.”

Jarrod Bowen hijack

West Ham have entered the battle to sign Hull star Jarrod Bowen.

That’s according to The Sun, who claim David Moyes’ side have already opened talks with the Championship club over a potential transfer.

The Tigers fear Bowen will ignore contract extension efforts and have decided to cash in over the next 24 hours.

Leeds offered £3million loan plus a £15m promotion bonus, while Crystal Palace had reportedly agreed a £16m fee with wages in the region of £60,000 per week.

The Sun say West Ham will submit an offer of £12m up front with a further £5m in achievable extras.

No sign of Ntcham

Celtic manager Neil Lennon insisted the “outstanding” Olivier Ntcham was going nowhere.

Lennon dismissed as “nonsense” reports in France that claimed a potential move to West Ham was at an advanced stage.

Ntcham headed home in the sixth minute and showed his class throughout during Celtic’s 3-0 victory over St Johnstone on Wednesday night.

“I’m delighted for Olivier. He could do that a little bit more, get in the box,” Lennon said. “He was outstanding. There is a lot of speculation around him and you could see why. He is not going anywhere.

“The last thing I want is good players going out of the door. If anything we want to bring players in – but that’s a difficult thing to do. I had a joke with him after the game, saying: ‘Did you do that for the cameras? Showing yourself out there’.”
