Michelle Obama gaffe: Ex-FLOTUS shoots hilarious burn at Ellen DeGeneres in birthday video

Ellen turned 62 on Sunday but has enjoyed a whole week of festivities on her show, “The Ellen DeGeneres show” to enjoy the special occasion. On Tuesday, her birthday celebrations included a resident DJ sitting in a cake and an adorable message from former FLOTUS Michelle.

Michelle said in the video: “Seriously Ellen. I love you. I admire you.

“You are one of the most generous, the most kind, the most inspiring person that I know.”

The former First Lady added: “You inspire and touch every one you come in contact with, including me.”

Michelle encouraged her best friend to live her life “with joy and laughter, and so, so much love for many, many years to come.”

The former POTUS’ wife added that with the tragic passing of NBA star Kobe Bryant last week, “we are once again reminded that each day is a precious gift.”

She continued: “Barack and I are sending you all our love, all the birthday wishes that you can imagine.

“I love you, babe.”

Ellen tweeted the message saying that she had experienced a “rough day yesterday”.
