Earlier this month, multiple publications reported that Wendy Williams and Kevin Hunter had officially finalized their divorce. New reports claim Williams couldn’t be happier about it. In fact, she claimed it was “so lovely” to finally put that life behind her, Page Six has learned.
During her appearence on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the 55-year-old said to the television show host, that yes, she was finally and legally divorced. “The new chapter has been so lovely,” the television show host remarked.
Wendy said to the 45-year-old host that she has known Fallon for years; for that reason, Fallon isn’t hesitant when it comes to asking the difficult questions. Wendy claimed people are scared to dance around the issue with her, but she’s grateful Fallon doesn’t feel the need to do that.
As followers of the divorce know, her separation with Hunter was traumatic in the beginning stages, especially after it was revealed that Kevin hunter had actually gotten another woman pregnant, Sharina Hudson.
However, she has since moved on from that stage of her life, and she’s finally in a good place. Wendy claimed, however, that she doesn’t actually regret the 25-year relationship she had with Hunter. “And I have to tell you something,” Wendy began, before going on to say that she no longer lives in New Jersey.

As it was previously reported, Williams and Hunter agreed to not pay each other any alimony, and instead, separate amicably and let the chips fall where they may. In other words, it sounds like the pair wants nothing to do with each other anymore at all.
With that said, however, Wendy did agree to keep a $1 million life insurance policy, which will go to Kevin in the case of her death. She has the right to reduce the amount of money annually. Moreover, she apparently has to cover his health insurance costs as well.

Wendy’s split with Kevin last year became one of the hotter topics of 2019. In fact, even 50 Cent took the opportunity to talk badly about the television show host’s predicament.
