Reported first by USA Today, it was revealed earlier today that Alicia Keys, who’s hosting the Grammy Awards this year, will kick off her first world-tour since 2013. Moreover, the R&B star is also dropping a brand new record in the coming months.
Alicia’s tour across four months is slated to start in Ireland in June of this year. Regarding her new LP, it’s called ALICIA, and it marks her seventh record. The last time she dropped a record was back in 2016 with Here.
As it was noted above, Alicia Keys is also gearing up to host the Grammy Awards for the second time in a row. In past interviews, the star claimed that she is more “familiar with the space” in several ways, now that she has done it once before.
There’s no question that Alicia Keys is one of the most recognized musical artists of the modern era, raised in Hell’s Kitchen, New York, and signing her first record contract with Columbia Records at the age of 15.

After a few problems with the record label, she signed with Arista Records, and later dropped her first effort, Songs in A Minor. She released it in 2001 with J Records. Her first album was successful on all levels, especially her number one song, “Fallin.”
In 2002, Keys earned five Grammy Awards. Later, she dropped her first live album, Unplugged, in 2005, which went on to break the record for the first woman ever to release an MTV Unplugged album and have it go to the number one spot.
As a consequence of her fame, Keys relationships have often been discussed by fans, although, for the most part, she has managed to keep them out of the spotlight.
She was in a relationship with Kerry Brothers Junior for years until 2008, before finally moving on to Swizz Beatz, who she has known since she was a teenager. They announced their engagement and first child together in May of 2010.

On the 31st of July, 2010, Alicia and Swizz Beatz got married in a private ceremony close to the Mediterranean Sea. In October of 2010, Egypt Daoud Dean was born, and in 2014, their second son was born, Genesis Ali Dean.
