Ivanka Trump snub: First Daughter’s sister-in-law avoids 10th wedding anniversary party

Ms Kloss, who is married to Ivanka’s husband’s brother, revealed that she is in fact a Democrat and will be voting against US President Donald Trump this year. She said on an episode of ‘Watch What Happens Live’ that she is an open book when it comes to politics.

She said: “I’m sure I’m not the only person in this country who does not necessarily agree with their family on politics.”

She continued: “I voted as a Democrat in 2016 and I plan to do the same in 2020.”

“I’m very passionate about different issues, women’s reproductive health, and I’m very involved with Planned Parenthood.”

Ivanka’s husband Jared Kushner’s brother Joshua Kushner is married to Ms Kloss.

The President reportedly threw a party for Ivanka and her husband for their tenth wedding anniversary.

The party took place at Camp David which he said was for “small group of family and friends.”

But Ms Kloss was coincidentally in St Louis at the time.

On social media she said she was in St Louis where a source confirmed to Page Six that she was celebrating her mother’s birthday.

Ivanka wrote: “An estimated 12,400 sex trafficking transactions take place in Atlanta each month.

“This morning I will visit two safe havens that provide women with the opportunity for rescue, restoration, and a chance to start a new life.

“I look forward to hearing from survivors and counsellors and learning from their stories and experiences.”

She also told WSBTV: “It’s devastating. You were starting to really just unearth the real number of victims.

“It’s great to see organisations step up, work with the federal Government, state and local partners and of course the private sector.”
