On the 17th of January, Rihanna was reportedly spotted hanging out with her former fling, A$AP Rocky, in New York City, following her split with Hassan Jameel. Us Magazine reported that the star was seen smiling and laughing while hanging out with the 31-year-old rapper, Rocky.
Fans of the former duo know they were first seen kissing during the filming of “Fashion Killa” in 2013. Us Magazine reported earlier this week that Rihanna and Jameel called off their relationship following three years of dating.
Sources claimed back in June of 2017 that Rihanna and Hassan had been “hooking up for a few months.” And last year in October, another insider who spoke with Us Magazine stated the ex-love birds were doing very well together.
However, sources noted that Rihanna was “fun and wild,” while Jameel was described as quite “serious.” Apparently, the difference in temperament between Rihanna and Hassan proved especially valuable. Sources claimed they had a very “deep connection.”
“They’re both so different,” one source explained, adding, “but it works for them.” Despite the relatively private nature of their romance, they were spotted displaying public displays of affection a few times over the course of their relationship, including back in August of 2019.
Spectators saw Rihanna and Hassan at Mason restaurant in Santa Monica along with Monica, Braithwaite, and her brother, Jameel. A source who spoke with Us Magazine at the time stated, “at one point, Rihanna and Hassan were “arm-in-arm.”
That same year, they were also seen hanging out at a Los Angeles Lakers game in celebration of her birthday. Speaking with reporters from Interview Magazine back in June of 2019, Rihanna was asked about her romance, and stated “of course” she loved him, but ultimately, was unsure she’d walk down the aisle with anyone anytime soon.

“Only God knows that girl,” Rihanna said.” She added, “We make plans and God laughs.” Before her romance with Hassan, Rihanna was linked to many different performing artists, including Chris Brown and Drake, who famously feuded over the Caribbean singer.
