Presidential election 2020: Did Andrew Yang drop out the election?

“I am so proud of what we built, and I feel nothing but faith in what we can accomplish together.”

In an email to his supporters, he added: “I’m proud of the ideas we brought to this Democratic primary and, more importantly, the values we championed throughout – that the only way we make progress is by bringing people together – even when we were told that our approach couldn’t win.”

The presidential hopeful focussed his campaign on “love and unity” as he hoped to repair the damage dealt by the “divisive” rhetoric of Donald Trump.

He ultimately failed to chime with voters on matters of criminal justice reform and pledges to reduce racial and economic inequality.
