Lady Kitty Spencer, 29, was first rumoured to be engaged earlier this month, and it seems her outing today flashing a massive diamond ring confirms the happy news. Kitty – the neice of the late Diana, Princess of Wales – is engaged to South-African born fashion tycoon Michael Lewis, 60.
It is thought the couple have been engaged for some weeks, with a source telling the Daily Mail: “Michael proposed to Kitty before Christmas.
“She’s been in Cape Town for the holidays and told her mother and the rest of the family. Michael is loved by all of them. Despite his wealth, he’s very humble and low key.”
Kitty and Michael enjoyed a breakfast in a Cape Town cafe this morning, and her stunning ring was on full display.
The eldest child of the 9th Earl of Spencer has chosen a diamond eternity band set in platinum.

Lady Kitty’s wedding is sure to be a lavish and stylish affair, with the beautiful bride taking her pick of top designers.
She has worked in modelling and styling, utilising her royal connections.
She is signed with Storm Model Management and has been modelling since 2015, however, she has mainly worked for Dolce & Gabbana both on and off the catwalk.
Dolce & Gabbana have a history of employing members of the British Royal Family to model for them, including Lady Amelia Windsor.
The privately educated socialite was raised in South Africa, with her mother hailing from the country.
She has a Master’s Degree in luxury brand management from the European Business School London at Regent’s University London.
Lady Kitty’s ring has been valued at a whopping £150,000 – but this pales in comparison to some other society brides.
Pippa Middleton, now married to James Matthews, has a ring thought to be worth £250,000.
The ring features an Art Deco style halo style, with large channel-set diamonds.
It is either platinum or white gold, and the centre diamond is an Asscher cut diamond which was estimated to be upwards of three carats.
At the time of the engagement David Christopher Allen, Creative Director of 77 Diamonds, told the Telegraph: “It is Art Deco in style with an octagonal halo of round diamonds surrounding what looks to be a 4 carat Asscher cut diamond.
“Asscher cut diamonds are step cut inside, which means there are fewer facets than standard shapes such as round or princess square cuts. This means that their clarity has to be of the highest quality and close to flawless to show off the beautiful structure of the diamond.”
